When I opened the door to the coop yesterday, Beatrice looked at the snow, bobbed her head a couple of times and headed back in! I decided to stay a while and watch what the other girls would do.
The fact that I was able to capture these photos really says something, because usually they scramble out so fast that there wouldn't be time for a clear shot. These chickens were clearly cold and confused! As the day progressed, they each came out and took to the porch.
Speaking of chickens, we made our donation of (the money towards) 12 baby chicks through Samaritan's Purse. Check out this link if you are interested.
Now there's 3 cool chicks. ;) Great photos, Dawn! I love Samaritan's Purse - what a great idea for you to give money for buying chickens for someone somewhere!!! Bless you! :)

What great pictures! They are really pretty. Glad it was cool enough to slow them down.
